Summary, etc. The study on the Application of Sagana 100 Fertilizer To Cabbage under Don Severino Agricultural College conditions was conducted from October 1, 1976 to January 8, 1977. The <br/>purpose of the study was to determine which of the varying amounts of Sagana 100 Fertilizer when applied to Cabbage would give the highest yield. Three hundred seventy five square meters field was thoroughly prepared by combined tractor and animal drawn implements. The entire field was divided into four equal blocks and sub-divided into eight plots. The different treatments were distributed at random as shown in the field lay-out (figure 1). <br/>The sowing of the seeds of cabbage was done on October 1, 1976. As soon as the seedlings had a pair of leaves, a week from sowing, the seeds were pricked in seed boxes for hardening (Figure 2). Transplanting of seedlings in the field was done at a distance of 50 x 50 centimeters apart. Planting was done on October 249 1976, exactly 23 days from the time of sowing the seeds. <br/><br/> One half of the fertilizer requirement was applied during planting using furrow method. The second half was applied one month after planting using ring method, three inches away from the base of the plants and three inches below the surface of the soil. Occasional weeding, cultivating and watering were done whenever necessary. Cabbage diamond black moth (Plutella maculipennis) and some aphids (Brevicoryne Brassicae) were observed in the <br/>experiment. The damage on crops however, was not serious because of Eradex and Parapest spraying done occasionally. Harvesting was done on January 8, 1977 exactly 76 days from the time of planting. The size and weight of the cabbage produced on the different treatments were highly significant. The thirty five tons per hectare of Sagana 100 application gave the highest average of 124 tons of Cabbage per hectare. The lowest yield was obtained from unfertilized plots with only 17 tons of Cabbage to a hectare. The results indicated that the best rate for maximum Cabbage production under Don Severino Agricultural College conditions is not yet attained using Sagana 100 as Fertilizer. <br/>
