Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Ms. Glenda S Pefia.<br/><br/>A three-month entrepreneurial development project was conducted at Cavite State University in Indang, Cavite from November 20, 2015 to February 29, 2016. In general, this entrepreneurial development project was designed to help the proponents to personally experience managing and operating an actual food business. With this project, students’ creativity and skills in decision making were developed. It also enhanced the managerial capability of the student entrepreneurs in facing conflicts, challenges, and problems while operating the business. Specifically, this entrepreneurial project aimed to add value by providing quality and unique taste to an ordinary cookie; to determine the profitability of the business; and to identify the problems encountered by the entrepreneurs and suggest possible solutions for its improvement.<br/><br/>The business was operated by three entrepreneurs who shared in the different tasks and responsibilities in operating the enterprise. The project covered the functional management areas such as planning, organizing, leading, production, marketing, and finance. The experiences of the entrepreneurs in managing the food business made them more responsible.<br/><br/>The initial capital of P30, 000.00 was equally shared by the entrepreneurs. The enterprise generated a total sale of P55, 225.00 with a cost of sales of P43, 733.01 which resulted in a net profit of P6, 618.75. The project accumulated a total asset worth P38, 218.75 in four months of operations.<br/><br/><br/> |
