Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Prof. Erica Charmane Hernandez. This study determined the Aerobics Club G.M.A.'s promotional strategies and the motivation for a healthy lifestyle among selected residents of G.M.A., Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to determine the level of effectiveness of Aerobics Club G.M.A's promotional strategies as perceived by the participants; determine the level of motivation of the participants for a healthy lifestyle through attending Aero-Zumba classes; and identify the relationship between the participants' perception on the effectiveness of Aerobics Club G.M.A.'s promotional strategies and their level of motivation for a healthy lifestyle through attending Aero-Zumba classes. The study used descriptive research method and utilized survey questionnaires to obtain the necessary information. The researchers' main sources of data were the selected residents of Brgy. Delas Alas, G.M.A., Cavite who were aware of the promotional strategies of Aerobics Club G.M.A. The study was conducted from November 2015 to January 2016. Weighted mean was used to determine the level of effectiveness of Aerobics Club G.M.A's promotional strategies as perceived by the participants and their level of motivation for a healthy lifestyle through attending Aero-Zumba classes. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient was also applied to evaluate the relationship between the effectiveness of Aerobics Club G.M.A.'s promotional strategies and the motivation for a healthy lifestyle through attending Aero-Zumba classes among selected residents of G.M.A., Cavite. The personal invitation was found as an effective promotional strategy. The social network promotion was also found effective in promoting the Aero-Zumba program of Aerobics Club G.M.A. The benefits offered were found highly effective in promoting the Aero-Zumba program of Aerobics Club G.M.A. The participants were also found highly motivated for a healthy lifestyle through attending Aero-Zumba classes. It was also found that there was no significant relationship between the level of effectiveness of Aerobics Club G.M.A.'s promotional strategies as perceived by the participants and their motivation for a healthy lifestyle through attending Aero-Zumba classes. It is recommended that other organizations to consider the results of this study in creating and enhancing their own promotional strategies; to the public specifically the local government unit of the municipality of General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite and to the future researchers conducting studies focusing on promotional strategies of programs offered by other organizations. This will lead to a more comprehensive analysis of the organization's promotional strategies.
