The study was conducted on S.Y. 2015-2016. The study aimed to: determine how sexually-abused male beneficiaries perceive themselves as a person; determine how
sexually-abused male beneficiaries relate with others; and determine how sexually- abused male beneficiaries see themselves in the future.
The four participants of this qualitative study, specifically the multiple case study design were literate sexually-abused male beneficiaries. The researchers used non- probability sampling technique specifically convenience sampling; this sampling was suitable in this study. The study used both objective and subjective measures. Objective measures included Rosernberg Self-esteem Scale, Schwarzer’s General Self-efficacy Scale and Interpersonal Relationship Scale while interview/guide as the subjective measure. The data were sorted and arranged, reduced or transformed into more meaningful and manageable units and useful patterns make meaning out of these in relation to the research problem.
The study found out that these sexually abused male beneficiaries a high level of self-esteem, self-efficacy, and social relationship. Similarly, these sexually-abused male beneficiaries have their own career and family plans in the future.
