Abstract: CORTEZ, ALYSSA G. Socio-Economic Innovations Of The Municipality Of Amadeo, Cavite Year 2010-2014: An Analysis. Undergraduate Thesis in partial fulfillment of the Degree Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Cavite State University. April 2016. Thesis Adviser: Mr. Renato T. Agdalpen. This study was conducted to determine the socio-economic innovations made by the local government of the municipality of Amadeo during 2010 up to 2014. Specifically it aimed to determine the sacin-economic. innovations from 2010 to 2014 the local government of Amadeo. It also aimed to verify the objectives of these innovations implemented by the local government of the municipality and it sought to determine the explicit impact of these innovations that helped improve the socio- economic aspect of the locality of Amadeo. This study used the descriptive-comparative and narrative analysis design to describe and explain the variables involved in the study. The descriptive method was used to describe systematically the situation regarding the socio-economic innovations being implemented by the local government of Amadeo from 2010 up to 2015. It also used to describe the impacts of the innovations that helped the municipality. The comparative method was used to compare and determine the significance difference of the socio-economic innovations of the local government during the governance between two consecutive terms, 2010-2013 term and 2013-2016 term. The narrative method was used to identify the purposes of the socio-economic innovations implemented in the locality of Amadeo and the impacts of these innovations that helped improved the socio-economic aspect of the town itself. The results revealed that there are socio-economic programs that the residents did not see being implemented in the municipality that the Mayor and other local officials had been stating especially during the years 2010 and 2011. The municipal government lacks coordination with barangay officials when it comes to execution of the local programs to the municipality. Most of the residents have different opinions and insights towards the implemented programs especially to Social Innovations in Amadeo, Cavite. Still, they found these innovations helpful and effective to the municipality.
