The study was conducted to determine the role of emotional stability to life expectation of abandoned children in Christian Mission Services Phil. Specifically, it aimed to investigate the emotional stability of abandoned children, explore their life expectation and describe the role of emotional stability to the life expectation of the participants. There were five selected abandoned children at CMSP that served as the participants. The whole duration of data gathering was from November 2014 to January 2015. The research design used was Purposive Sampling. Based on the finding, the participants’ emotional stability revealed that: most of the participants were emotionally stable at present, but when critical event happens, they were too fragile and emotional.
