Abstract: MAMARIL, LOVELY MN F. SHARED EXPERIENCES OF CHILDREN WITH SEPARATED PARENTS IN SELECTED BARANGAYS OF TRECE MARTIRES CITY, CAVITE:AN ANALYTICAL STUDY. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Advisedayson B Omugtong. This study was conducted to explore the children's experiences with separated parents without cohabitant for one (1) year and above of Trece Martires City, Cavite such as Conchu, San Agustin, Cabuco, hugo Perez and DeOcampo. The study aimed to explore the experiences of children with separated parents in their everyday activities. Asses nthe significance of the experiences of the children to social work practice with individuals. This study utilized Purposive Sampling Technique where the researcher had chosen specific people with in the population to use for a particular study or research to explore children's perspective of their parents separation. Individual interviews were conducted with nine (9) children, five (5) girls and (4) boys. The ages of the children at the time of the separation ranged from one to eight years. The study found out that despite of challenges the children with separated parents experience, their dreams stands as their hope to pursue their education. Majority of the repondent's experiences become their strength to do their responsibililities and be good to others. Their experiences of events and relationships differed both across and within families depending on an array of factors including their relationships with their separated parents.
