Abstract: MARTINEZ, JEHAN B. and SANTIAGO, SARAH LYNN A. Development of an Electronic Notice Board for Cavite State University — Don Severino de las Alas Campus. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. March 2016: Engr. Michael T. Costa. The main objective of the study was to develop a notice board. It specifically aimed to construct a TV transmitter that can broadcast signal within the entire university with a frequency of 470MHz-476MHz; construct a transmitter and receiver antennas, and; determine the cost of the system. The design project was composed of a TV transmitter and a transmitter antenna which was connected to the antenna port of the transmitter, a laptop that serves as the input and a receiver antenna which was connected to the television as a receiver. The TV transmitter was evaluated at the Entrepreneurship Building and Animal Science Building of the university. The maximum distance of transmission and clarity and fidelity of the reception were determined by using an ordinary cellphone which has TV feature in different locations, open area and inside the buildings inside the university premises. Television was used to determine the visual and aural quality inside the Entrepreneurship Building and Animal Science Building of the university. The constructed TV transmitter was connected to an antenna that can transmit signal within the entire university. However, the transmission was affected by obstruction like trees and structures. In order for the university to fully utilize the project, the institution must secure the necessary permits and registration mandated by the National Telecommunications Commission.
