Abstract: FAMORCAN, JR FELIX G. and VERANO, MAY-AN R. Development of a portable and Rechargeable Refrigerator. Undergraduate Design Project, Bachelor of Industrial Technology, major in Electronics Technology. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. April 2016, Adviser: Mr Emerson L. Lascano. The study entitled Development of a Portable and Rechargeable Refrigerator was conducted from November 2015 t0 March 2016. It was developed in brgy Guyam Indang, Cavite. The researchers developed a new small scale refrigerator that can be easily transferred or moved from one place to another. The design project is limited to the small scale design for residential and hospital. The portable and rechargeable refrigerator proved to be efficient in storing perishable goods and medicine. The device has a compressor combined with the evaporator and condenser that can keep the refrigerator in maintaining certain level of temperature for proper storage of goods and medicine. The project was conducted by the instructor from Department of Industrial Engineering Technology and students from Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Electronics Technology and of students major in Electrical Technology. These evaluators were divided into four groups. The overall computed mean was found to be 4.94 evaluations with descriptive rating of “very satisfactory”. This shows that the designed project is highly acceptable in all levels of evaluators. The total cost of the project was P25,375.00.
