Abstract: DEL MUNDO, JENNIFER O. Broiler Production in Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite: An Entrepreneurial Project October 2015. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship major in Animal Production, Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Mr. Gary A. Pareja The entrepreneurial project was conducted at Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Cavite from October 26- December 7, 2015 (first cycle) and December 26, 2015 — February 6, 2016 (second cycle). The project aimed to develop the knowledge and skills of the student entrepreneur in broiler production; determine the cost and return of broiler production; and provide actual experience in managing a small-scale business. The broiler production project used a total of 400-day-old chicks for two (2) cycles. The project involved different activities starting from the preparation of the housing and equipment, purchase of chicks and feeds, brooding, feeding, waste management, as well as harvesting and marketing. The project had a harvest recovery of 100% for the first cycle and 90% for the second cycle. During the first cycle, the birds posted an average live weight of 1,98 kg, average feed consumption of 3.63 kg and feed conversion efficiency of 1.83. Whereas birds had an average live weight of 1.75 kg feed consumption of 2.63 and feed conversion efficiency of 1.67 for the second cycle. At the end of raising period the in first cycle, the project incurred a total cost of P31,434.00 and obtained a net income ofP7, 176.00. The return on investment (ROI) was 22.83%, During the second cycle, the project had a total cost of P 24,534.00 and net income of P 6, 178.50 and ROI of 25.18%.
