Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Mrs. Aitee Janelle E. Reterta, MS. This plant practice was conducted to acquire knowledge and experience in the actual quality assurance operation in the manufacturing of tetra milk products at Cabuyao Logistics and Industrial Center, RFM Corporation, Krn. 47 Pulo, RFM Road, C.abuyao, Laguna from November 2013 to January 2014 for a total of 300 hours. This plant practice specifically aims to: provide hands-on experience in quality assurance of tetra. milk products; to develop skills required as a quality assurance analyst and to provide the student with the proper working attitude Knowledge, skills and hands-on experience in microbiological analyses, chemical analyses and raw material and packaging materiai inspection and dimensional analyses were obtained during the plant practice. Quality assurance operations in the production of tetra milk products was such as, evaluation of sensory properties, determination of physico-chemical properties, microbiological tests and inspection in receiving raw materials and packaging matenals were done. The on-the-job trainee was able to acquire knowledge in quality assurance operations in the manufacturing of tetra milk products at RFM Corporation. The on-thejob trainee was also able to deveiop skills required as a quality analyst and the on-the-job trainee was able to learn the proper working attitude.
