The design of a four -- story multi — purpose transport terminal in Olivarez. Tagaytay City was conducted from October 2016 to April 2017. The study aimed to design a four — story multi — purpose transport terminal with anadjacent four story shopping mall in Olivarez, Tagaytay City. Specifically. the study aimed to: 1) provide a site development plan and architectural plan of a four ~ story multi— purpose transport terminal including a four — story shopping mall in Olivarez, Tagaytay City; 2) prepare a structural design of a four - story multi — purpose transport terminal excluding the four — story shopping mall: 3) prepare a structural plan of a four — story multi — purpose transport terminal excluding the four — story shopping mall; 4) prepare a cost estimate of the proposed multi — purpose terminal; and 5) provide a tarpaulin showing a short description/plan of the project. The study provided architectural and structural details of the proposed building. Architectural plans included perspective, floor plans, and elevations. Structural plans included detailed design of beam, column, footing and slab. The analysis of the individual structural member was obtained with the aid of Structural Aided Analysis and Design (STAAD) software. The lot allotted in Tagaytay has an area of 24,753 square meters, the proposed multi - purposed transport terminal has a lot area of 4,746 square meters and the shopping mall has a lot area of 3,122 square meters. The total floor area of the buildings are 39.290 square meters. Its highest point from the ground is 16.85 meters. The structural design of the building was done following the procedures and other requirements as per NSCP standards and ACI codes. Based on the design computation and analysis. it can be concluded that all section and material used are safe and economical. For the updated standards in the computation procedure, the use of National Structural Code of the Philippines 2015 edition is highly recommended for the structural design of the building. Electrical and plumbing layout for the proposed multi- purpose terminal were also provided by the authors. Since the architectural design was also provided, the authors recommend that the structural design of the shopping mall and the design of electrical both lighting and power, and plumbing will be detailed by the future researchers. The total cost of the project based on the detailed estimate P131 260 915.20and the cost per sq. meter is P6964.20.

The design of a four -- story multi — purpose transport terminal in Olivarez. Tagaytay City was conducted from October 2016 to April 2017.

The study aimed to design a four — story multi — purpose transport terminal with anadjacent four story shopping mall in Olivarez, Tagaytay City. Specifically. the study aimed to: 1) provide a site development plan and architectural plan of a four ~ story multi— purpose transport terminal including a four — story shopping mall in Olivarez, Tagaytay City; 2) prepare a structural design of a four - story multi — purpose transport terminal excluding the four — story shopping mall: 3) prepare a structural plan of a four — story multi — purpose transport terminal excluding the four — story shopping mall; 4) prepare a cost estimate of the proposed multi — purpose terminal; and 5) provide a tarpaulin showing a short description/plan of the project.

The study provided architectural and structural details of the proposed building. Architectural plans included perspective, floor plans, and elevations. The total cost of the project based on the detailed estimate P131 260 915.20and the cost per sq. meter is P6964.20.
