Abstract: The study was prepared and documented started from August to October 2016. The design and development of the application was conducted from August to January 2017 in General Trias and Indang, Cavite. The main objective of this study was to introduce a new way of teaching in a way of mobile game. This would help to improve the current way of learning animals' sound and habitat by the children. To attain a better understanding and knowledge for the children, the researchers developed the Android game that results to an effective way teaching of the teacher, as well as the guardians. The researchers used the modified waterfall methodology for the implementation of the application. Using a descriptive and correlational evaluation, the design and data were collected from 50 kindergarten teachers from New Municipal of Indang Day Care Center, Cavite State University Child Development Center, and Glory Advance Christian Learning Center, and 10 IT experts from CvSU - Main Campus. The study entitled "Animalandia: A Two-Dimensional Android Game on Determining Animals' Sound and Habitat" passed the variety of testing including unit test, integration test, and system evaluation. In the evaluation, the system got an overall mean of 4.67. Based on the result, the system was evaluated as excellent in all the identified criteria. Hence, there is a need to further improve the application Animalandia, a 2D Android game on determining animals' sound and habitat. Based on these key findings, it is recommended that future researchers may try to develop in iOS platform, to have better animations, and more animals to display. For users, the mobile phone to be used must be Android devices with at least 4.0 Android version Jellybean, at least 512MB RAM and 100MB ROM.
