Abstract: ENCINAREZ, JASMIN R. and ORPILLA, KENNETH FRANCIS D. Logistic Regression Analysis of Employability of College of Arts and Sciences Graduates of Cavite State University-Main Campus From 2015-2016. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with Specialization in Statistics. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Jinky T. Rupido This study entitled "Logistic Regression Analysis of Employability of College of Arts and Sciences Graduates of Cavite State University-Main Campus from 2015-2016" was conducted at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite and in the respective residences of the respondents from December 2016 to February 2017. Generally, the study aimed to formulate logistic regression model of employability of College of Arts and Sciences graduates. Specifically, it aimed to (1) determine the employment status of CAS graduates in terms of demographic profile; (2) determine if the graduates of CAS have a job that is in lined with their field of study; (3) determine the factors associated to the employability of CAS graduates; and (4) determine the problems encountered by CAS graduates in employment. The data of the study was attained by the used of the survey questionnaire. The researchers distributed the questionnaire to the CAS graduate of Cavite State University (CvSU) from 2015-2016. The logistic regression model formulated on this study was: Logit(Y) = 1.000 x highest educational attainment(l) + 0.024 xfamily income The logistic regression model shows that the most influential factors that affects the employment status of CAS graduates are highest educational attainment and family income. The factors were used to predict the probability of the graduates to be employed or unemployed. Considering the classification rate of the model, it can be concluded that the formulated model is a better model representing the factors affecting employment of CAS graduates. There are more graduates that are correctly classified as employed. This implies that the formulated model has been able to classify 81.3% of the employment status of the graduates. Hence, more cases in the study are classified indicating the accuracy of the study. There are 560 CAS graduates in the academic year 2015-2016 which was reduced to 250 with the use of stratified random sampling. Among the 250 graduates to be sampled only 230 of them are retrieved. The researchers focused on the 230 graduates with the percentage of 92% that are randomly selected. Most of the graduates are 20-25 years old, female, single, with a height of 151160 cm and weight of 41-50 kgs, a bachelor's degree holder, with no honors received and no examination taken or failed to pass the examination, and lastly, with a family income and target salary that ranges from 10,000 to 30,000 pesos. There are 189 graduates who are employed and 41 are unemployed. Since there are 189 graduates who are employed, 143 graduates have a job that is in line with their field of specialization and 46 are not in line. For the perception of graduates, the main reason in accepting employee was the personality and field of specialization. Majority of graduates have a difficulty in adjusting in their job and have a low salary or wage. Based on the result, the researchers come up with the following recommendations: (l) future researchers can use the results as a basis and guide for similar studies involving employability of graduates; (2) the university must conduct more training, seminars and job fair to boosts the confidence, and skills of the graduates;(3) the colleges in the university should conduct a related study regularly to determine the in demand job, the condition of the graduates and the problems that are still occurring in the work place; (4) to come up with a better model for the employability of graduates, it is recommended that more independent or explanatory variables must be included in the model. Moreover, it is suggested that a large sample be used in succeeding studies

The data of the study was attained by the used of the survey questionnaire. The researchers distributed the questionnaire to the CAS graduate of Cavite State University
(CvSU) from 2015-2016.
The logistic regression model formulated on this study was:
Logit(Y) = 1.000 x highest educational attainment(l) + 0.024 xfamily income
The logistic regression model shows that the most influential factors that affects the employment status of CAS graduates are highest educational attainment and family income.
