Abstract: FERMA, DIANNE REI G., RIVERO JAHZEEL R. AND CRUZ, MARK LAWRENCE D. Level of Self- control and Cyberdeviance Response of Selected Junior high School Students. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Dr. Marissa C. Lontoc. The study was conducted from May 2016 to May 2017, to assess the level of selfcontrol and cyberdeviance response of selected junior high school students. Specifically, the study aimed to: assess the level of self- control of selected junior high school students; assess the level of response on cyberdeviance of selected junior high school students; and identify the significant relationship between the level of self- control and cyberdeviance response of selected junior high school students. Descriptive-correlational method was used in the study to determine the relationship of level of self- control and cyberdeviance response of selected junior high school students. The participants were composed of 400 junior high school students in which it is divided into 100 per grade level. A self-made survey questionnaire that assessed the level of cyberdeviance response of the participants and standardized survey questionnaire that assessed the level of self-control of the participants were used as the main gathering tool for this study. Based on the result of the study, the level of self- control of the selected junior high school students got the highest mean score of 3.00 with verbal interpretation of high. This implies that junior high school students have high level of self- control that manifest in different ways. On the other hand, the level of cyberdeviance response of the selected junior high school students got the highest mean score of 1.46 with verbal interpretation of very low. This implies that junior high school students have very low level of cyberdeviance. Therefore, the null hypothesis which states that of there is no significant relationship between level of self- control and level of cyberdeviance response ofjunior high students was rejected.
