Abstract: BAGO, JHASMIN GAYE R., MOJICA, MARRAIAH KIM A., ORETA JOHN JEJOMAR P. Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) on Local Public Services of Indang, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Criminology, College of Criminal Justice. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Dr. Famela Iza Cabe-Matic. The study was conducted in the Municipality of Indang, Cavite. The study was aimed to: determine the level of awareness, availment and satisfaction/assessment of the participants in terms of: health services; support to education; social welfare services; governance and response; public works and infrastructure; environmental management; and economic investment promotion services. Descriptive and evaluative survey through multi-stage probability sampling technique was done. Participants included 75 male and 75 female who are at least 18 years old and have been residing in Indang, Cavite for at least 6 months. The study revealed the overall rating of the participants on satisfaction. Most of the participants (90.00%) are satisfied. Only 10.00% of them stated that they are not satisfied. The overall rating on satisfaction is high. On the other hand, the study also revealed that the overall rating on need for action is high. About 80.00% of the participants said that there is a need for appropriate action while 20.00% affirmed that it is no longer needed. Thus, it is recommended that the LGU should continue the provision of the seven program areas but should also take note of the positive points or recommendations cited by the respondents in the study and may tap institutions like Cavite State University to regularly conduct studies like CSIS to measure the performance of the LGU in terms of the delivery of its services. Regular assessments and evaluation would help the LGU review its progress, identify corrective measures if necessary and improve the quality of its services.
