Abstract: JUDIN, MARK EJ F. Production Process of Cascades Enterprises Inc. Undergraduate Case Study, Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Operations Management, College of Economics, Management and Development Studies. Cavite State University, Don Severino delas Alas Campus, Indang Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Engr. Gilberto S. David. The case study was conducted at the Cascades Enterprises Inc. located at Governor’s Drive, Brgy. Tanauan, Tanza Cavite. The objectives of the study are to describe the company profile and the products of Cascades Enterprises Inc., describe the production process of the company, analyze the production process using strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis, and to identify the problems encountered in the production of the company and recommend feasible solutions to solve the problems identified. This study presented an overview of the production of brown paper rolls. The data of the study were gathered through the use of interview method with the employees, staffs, supervisors, and the manager, personal observations of the activities and hands-on involvement of the operations of the firm were likewise done. Other informations were obtained from the manuals, files, records, reliable websites using the internet and other related books and researches. The author used a descriptive method to identify the production process of the firm. Also, flowchart, tables and figures were used to present the production process of the company. This study also, presents the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats or SWOT analysis of the company. Cascades Enterprises Inc. was formerly the Trans-National Paper Corporation but It’s now owned and a sister company of the Malinta Corrugated Boxes Manufacturing Corporation and being managed by its owner Mr. Henry Chong and his brother Mr. Harry Chong. The main product that the company is producing is brown paper rolls, that has two types such as the corrugated medium and the test liner, which are the main materials used in making corrugated cartons that they produced and supplied to their corrugated boxes manufacturer sisters company. The production process of brown paper rolls of the firm was concluded that the firm produces quality and satisfactory products as it undergo a lot of processes that screened, checked and monitored the process of paper making very well from the raw materials up until it produce its finished goods.
