Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Betsy Rose S. Fidel. The study, Procurement and Distribution Management of Power city Corporation, was conducted at Km. 20, East Service Road, Brgy. Buli, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. It aimed to determine the procurement and distribution management of Logistics Department of Power city Corporation. Specifically, it aimed to determine the procurement process and distribution process; analyze the firm's procurement and distribution process using SWOT analysis; determine the problems encountered by the firm regarding procurement and distribution process; and recommend feasible solutions to the problems encountered. Descriptive research design was used to attain the objectives of the study. The study focused on the procurement and distribution process of the firm’s logistics department. Primary sources of data were gathered through personal interviews with employees within logistics department and through observations. Secondary sources of data were obtained from the University Library, journal articles, and also from the records and files of the company. Power city Corporation's procurement process starts with the requisition of supplies. budget allocation, going to the purchaser, negotiating with the suppliers, canvassing of materials, purchase of products and supplies, delivery, and payment. Vil On the other hand, the distribution process begins with the preparation of requirements of dealers, forwarding of the purchased orders, exportation of products and spare parts/accessories and distribute to their accredited dealers.
