Abstract: NOVENO, PRINCESS MAGALLANES. Production Planning and Control of RPMC Plastics Philippines Incorporated. Undergraduate Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Operations Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Engr. Gilberto S. David. A two-month case study was conducted at 258 G. Araneta Avenue, SFDM, Quezon City, Metro Manila from February 6 to March 2017. It aimed to analyze the production planning and control of RPMC Plastics Philippines Incorporated using SWOT analysis, describe the profile and operations of the company, describe the production process implemented by the company, identify the problems encountered by the company in its production and recommend some feasible solutions thereof. Data were gathered through personal interview and observation on the production management of the company. Other information was obtained from the company itself such as company profile. The problems encountered by the company on production are unavailability of some raw materials, tardiness, and inefficiency of work in the part of some employees, a lot of wastes produce, slow recondition of machine for large sizes of plastics due to insufficient technicians and spare parts, rejection of plastics, lack employees and machines. Due to these problems, the production process and practices were affected. To avoid those problems the company should look for a substitute supplies for the said material, provide proper training program for the employees, provide another strapping machine, frequent monitoring of the Quality Controls to each plastic, keep the machines in a right condition by the maintenance and produce biodegradable plastics depends to the order of the customers.
