CERDENIA, KIM JOSHUA R. , GARGARITA, JEFFREY D. Development of a Three Phase Motor Control Instructional Trainer with Wye—Delta Wiring Connection for Cavite State University. Undergraduate design project, Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Electrical Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2017. Adviser: Mr. Garry M. Cahibaybayan.
The study was conducted to develop a motor control. The development of a three phase motor control instructional trainer was tested and assessed in terms of its ability, workability, functionality and safety. The trainer was composed of three contactors, a voltmeter, pushbuttons, overload relay, a timer, pilot lamp and three phase motor. The pushbuttons forward, reverse, and stop is the controller of the motor. Perform about motor control and how to trouble shoot is the study aimed to help the students.
Over testing was led before it was set into a final evaluation. The project was tested by using a multi-tester. The controls was tested carefully into various activities at the industrial areas ever in different activities just like star-stop, start-stop and jog, forward reverse and wye-delta wiring connection with students and instructors. We also test the three phase motor if it was running and working safe. The best outcome conducted to subject design for evaluation.
The performance of the three phase motor and motor controls was evaluated and found out to be very efficient, reliable and economical use in any electrical and industrial activities of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology.
