The study was conducted to determine the compliance and effect to business performance of fast food restaurants to the Provincial Ordinance No. 007-2012 in all cities of Cavite from January to April 2017. Specifically the study aimed to: determine the business profile of fast food restaurants; measure the degree of compliance to the Provincial Ordinance No.007-2012 by fast food restaurants in Cavite; determine if there was a significant difference to the compliance to the Provincial Ordinance No. 007-2012 when grouped based on the business profile of fast food restaurants; determine the effects of the Provincial Ordinance No. 007-2012 to the business performance of fast food restaurants in; and to determine if there is a significant relationship between the compliance to the Provincial Ordinance No. 007-2012 and the business performance of fast food restaurants. The participants of the study were 129 restaurant managers of fast food restaurants in all cities of Cavite. Majority of the fast food restaurants has been operating for 7 to 12 years and is dominated by franchise operation owned by a corporation. Majority of the fast food restaurants had high compliance to the ordinance in terms of level of usage of prohibited and alternative to plastic materials and full compliance on the required practices under the ordinance. Fast food restaurants were also supportive with the collaborative practices in support of the ordinance. The result of the study showed that there was no significant difference in the degree of compliance to the Provincial Ordinance No. 007-2012 in terms of level of usage of prohibited and alternative materials and required practices under the ordinance when grouped based on the business profile in terms or years of operation and type of business organization, be it franchise or company-owned operation. On the other hand, there was a significant difference in the degree of compliance to the ordinance when grouped based on business profile in terms of type of business organization whether the fast food restaurants were owned by sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation. The results of the study showed that there was no significant difference in the extent of practice of collaborative activities in support of the ordinance when grouped based on business profile in terms of years of operation and type of business organization. The outcomes of the study showed that there was no significant relationship between the business performance and compliance to the Provincial Ordinance No. 007-2012.
