VERDADERO, Economic Evaluation of Income Generating Projects in Selected State Universities And Colleges In Region IV-A, 2011-2015.Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Economics major in Business Economics and Agricultural Economics. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Mr. Marlon A. Mojica. This study was conducted to evaluate the economic performance of Income Generating Projects of selected State Universities and Colleges in Region IV-A. Specifically, this study: (1) present the business profile and the historical performance of Income Generating Projects in selected State Universities and Colleges in Region IV-A from 2011-2015 in terms of: their nature, operation, total revenue, total cost, sales, net income; (2) evaluate the efficiency of Income Generating Projects in selected State Universities and Colleges in Region IV-A from 2011-2015; (3) Assess the profitability of Income Generating Projects in selected State Universities and Colleges in Region IV-A from 2011-2015; (4) determine if there are significant differences between the economic performance of different Income Generating Projects in selected State Universities and Colleges in Region IV-A; and (5) identify the problems encountered by the implementers/administrators of Income Generating Projects in selected State Universities and Colleges in region IV-A. The descriptive and co-relational research design was utilized to achieve the purpose of this study. Primary and Secondary data were used in the conduct of the study. Primary data from each state universities and colleges were collected through visits, conversations, and interviews. Based from the findings in all SUCs, the non-production projects had generated axe revenue, more sales and more net income than the production projects. It also thus that in terms of return to labor ratio and labor-income generation efficiency ratio, son-production projects were more efficient and profitable. CvSU had the highest revenue, highest sales and highest net income from non-production projects. It had also the highest total cost spent for the said projects. LSPU were the most profitable in non-production projects among the SUCs in Region IV-A. Production projects were more efficient than non-production projects in terms of labor-sales ratio.
