Abstract: BAGO, LAURENCE ANGELO F. and CARBONEL, BRYAN GIL P. "El Fili app: Development of a mobile story book application of El Filibusterismo". Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, June 2018. Adviser: Mr. Mark Philip M. Sy. The thesis preparation and documentation started from August to October 2017. The survey was held at the Saint Gregory Academy, Indang, Cavite. The related studies were gathered at Ladislao N. Diwa Memorial Library and Museum in Cavite State University Main Campus. Design and development of the software was done from October to January 2018 in Poblacion 3, Indang, Cavite and Cavite State University Main Campus. The researchers used the prototyping methodology for the implementation of the application. Using a descriptive and correlational evaluation, design and data were collected from 100 students from the organization and 10 Information Technology (IT) experts from Cavite State University-Main Campus. The El Fill App: Development of a Mobile Story Book Application of El Filibusterismo passed the testing like the unit test. In the evaluation, the system got an overall mean of 4.49. Based on the result, the system was evaluated as excellent in all the identified criteria. Hence, the study intended to improve the existing process of learning El Filibusterismo a mobile application using android two-dimensionalation. Based on these key findings, the researchers recreated the stories presented to a three-dimensional animation to further encourage the user to utilize the application, continue creating a more detailed narration of the novel from the middle to the latter part and create a version for other mobile platforms like iOS and Windows to enhance the scope of users that can use the application.
