The purpose of his study is to determine the level of awareness of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC), barangay officials and residents about the disaster risk reduction and management programs in municipality of Indang, Cavite in terms of; ligation/prevention, preparedness and response. Also, the level of involvement of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC), barangay officials and residents about the disaster risk reduction and management programs in municipality of Indang, Cavite in terms of; mitigation/prevention, preparedness and response. Lastly, the level of implementation of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC), barangay officials and residents about the disaster risk reduction and management programs in municipality of Indang, Cavite in terms of; mitigation/prevention, preparedness and response. Purposive sampling employed to select the participants. A total of on- thousand four hundred sixty five (1,465) participants, four(4) from Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC), seventy-two (72) barangay official and one thousand three hundred eighty e (1,389) residents of Indang, Cavite that w based from ten (10) percent of the total number of households of each barangay o Indang, Cavite. The statistical measures employed to determine the awareness level, level of involvement and level of implementation were mean and standard deviation. The researchers made a three researcher to complete this study. The Awareness Scale, which composed of 14 items that measure the level of awareness of the participants. A 12 item Involvement Scale was used to measure the level of involvement of the participants. Lastly, an 11 item Implementation Scale was used to measure the level of implementation of the participants Based on the findings and data gathered, the following conclusions were drawn. It as concluded that the disaster risk reduction management program being implemented by LDRRMC and barangay officials were all highly aware and strongly agree in involvement that perceived by the co ty residents. It was all based on the level of awareness, involvement and implementation of the people with regards to the different programs of their community. It is found out that the level of awareness of LDRRMC about the disaster risk reduction and management programs in municipality of Indang, Cavite in terms of disaster preparedness, response, r Litigation and prevention was interpreted as very high it only means that they truly aware on the programs that they conducted on their municipality. To the residents, they participate in the disaster risk reduction and management programs because they know that it will be beneficial to them, in such a way it will increase their preparedness, response, mitigation and prevention to disaster and calamities. The resident's involvement on the program has also been influenced by the proponents themselves. In this way, the local government and the barangay officials will continue implementing the programs concerning disaster m ligation/prevent on, preparedness and response in their community. The way the Interact and implemented the program have been so highly aware and strongly agree far as residents' awareness and involvement to the program is concerned. The LDRRMC of Indang, Cavite uses different strategies in implementing disaster risk reduction management programs regarding disaster mitigation/prevention, preparedness and response to increase the community's awareness and involvement about these programs and for it to be more beneficial to them. The researchers conclude that these strategies were effective as based from the results of the study.
