Abstract: RUALES, GABRIELLE LEE V. and TEDE, JOHN CARLO M. Development of Management Information System of Indang East Elementary School in Indang, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Aiza E. Bihis. The study was conducted to develop a management information system for Indang East Elementary School as a solution to the problems encountered in the school's manual process and transactions. The common problems encountered by the school are the unorganized pile of student information records due to the increasing transaction of files and the continuous record keeping, difficulty in processing students' grades; and the difficulty in manual releasing school reports which cause the official in charge to produce delayed reports. With this, the study aimed to develop a management information system for the institution. It would have a central repository of the records included in the system. The system provides security to the information in the school like students' information through restricting access that is based on the levels of access in the school. The researchers used the Evolutionary Prototyping Methodology for the overall process in the development of the system. The methodology consists of phases are: requirements gathering, quick design, building prototype, customer evaluation, refining prototype, and engineering product.
