This study was conducted to determine the financial wellness of female rice retailers in selected municipalities of Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of female rice retailers in terms of age, marital status, highest educational attainment, number of financial dependents and housing tenure; to determine the characteristics of business enterprise in terms of start-up capital, number of years of operation and monthly net income; to determine the financial wellness of female rice retailers in terms of perception of personal finance; to determine the financial stressors encountered by female rice retailers; to determine the level of financial stress of female rice retailers; to determine the relationship between the socio-demographic characteristics and the financial wellness of female rice retailers; to determine the relationship between the financial stressors and financial wellness of female rice retailers; and to determine the relationship between the level of financial stress and financial wellness of female rice retailers. The study was conducted among the 200 selected female rice retailers in selected municipalities of Cavite. The results showed that most of the participants were 45 years old. Majority of the participants were married and attained college education. Most of them have 1 to 3 financial dependents, and owning a home. The results showed that participants have start-up capital of 200,001 to 300,000. The length of operation of rice retailing business was 11 to 20 years and the estimated monthly net income was 80,001 to 90,000. The overall financial wellness of female rice retailers in terms of perception of personal finance was very high. The financial stressors encountered by the female rice retailers in selected municipalities of Cavite were highly manageable and the level of financial stress was low. It means that the participants have high financial wellness. Financial wellness of female rice retailers is not related to socio-demographic characteristics. The financial stressors encountered by the participants were significantly related to the financial wellness and also the level of financial stress and financial wellness were significantly related.
