A field study was conducted at Rural Bank of Gen. Trias Inc. at Tejero Gen. Trias, Cavite from November 18,2002 to February 24,2003. It aimed to provide the author the opportunity to apply his knowledge and skill in business management in actual business operation. The study described the Rural Bank of Gen. Trias, Inc. in terms of organization and management and operation of the bank, analyzed the activities of the firm, identified the problems encountered and provided solutions to identified problems. Data were gathered through observation and personal interview to the management and staff and through the records and files of the firm. Other information were gathered from CvSU library and from the Internet. During the conduct of the field study, the student was exposed in the lending operation of the bank. The problem identified is the overdue payment of loans. This can be solved through sending notice of the debt two weeks before Its due date and by indicating that if the debtor failed to settle their account the bank will be forced to give penalties for every past due payments. This will force the client to pay on the time.
