Abstract: PERLAS, MARK JEROME 0. and VIDALLO, MARK RONNER R. 2M File Organizer: A Content-Based File Organizer for Computer Science and Information Technology Students. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Ria Clarisse L. Mojica. This study was conducted from June 2016 to March 2017 at Cavite State University - Main Campus. The purpose of the study was to help the students of Computer Science and Information Technology students in Cavite State University — Main Campus and the professors, who are teaching their major subjects, organize the files or lectures on their computer automatically. Iterative and incremental software development was used as the methodology of the system. It was created using Java Netbeans 8.0. A total of 195 students from Cavite State University — Main Campus, and five instructors of Department of Information Technology who evaluated the system. There results were collected through a questionnaire based on ISO 9126. According to the overall evaluation results, the system was judged to be "Excellent" in all aspects such as functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness. Upon the completion of the study, the researchers concluded that this would be a solution for the students having unorganized files on their computer.
