Abstract: The study , "Germination and Growth Response of Chico Seed and Seedling to GA3 was conducted at the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from April 29, 1981, to September 30, 1981, to find out the best concentration of gibberellic acid that will enhance germination of chico seeds and the growth of seedlings. Highly significant results were obtained from the experiment in terms of the average number of days from sowing to germination, average height of the plants and average girth diameter of the stem after 75 days as affected by the different concentrations of GA However, insignificant results were obtained in the percentage of germination, average number of leaves and percentage of survival of seedlings after 75 days as affected by the concentrations of GA3.
