Abstract: The study "Effect of Various Processing Procedures on Germination and Growth of Papaya Seeds end Seedlings was conducted in the Nursery Project of the Don Severino Agricultural College , Indang, Cavite from December 1932 to February 1983. This was conducted to determine the effect of pre- sowing procedures on papaya seeds and seedling like sowing seeds with pulp end de pulped seeds, sun dried seeds with and without pulp and air-dried seeds with pulp before sowing. The different processing procedures on papaya seeds Hawaiian Long variety were employed before sowing them in individual plastic bags, Results showed insignificant results. In terms of percentage of germination, percentage of survival of germinated seedlings, number of days to true leaf formation height of plant and the girth diameter of the stem. Highly significant results were obtained from the experiment in terms of earliness to germinate 3nå the number of leave S per seedlings two months from germination.
