This study was conducted to determine the level of preferences of commercial building tenants on office space occupation decision in selected areas of Cavite. it aimed to determine the following: (1) socio-demographic profile of the tenants in selected area of Cavite; (2) business profile of the tenants who occupy office space in commercial building; (3) the level of preferences of commercial building tenants who occupy office space in commercial building; (4) the significant difference in preferences use in office space occupation decision of commercial building tenants in terms of socio-demographic profile; (5) the significant difference in preferences use in office space occupation decision of commercial building tenants in terms of business profile; (6) propose improvements could be suggested that would contribute to the achievement of better occupation of office space in commercial building in the facility management. The participants of the study were 125 commercial building tenants with ages 20 years old and above in selected areas of Cavite namely: trece Martires City, General Trias City, Bacoor, and Tanza and Dasmarinas City. A questionnaire was used to gather data from the participants. Mean, frequency count, percentage and standard deviation were used to describe the socio-demographic and business profile, the level of preferences in the office space of commercial building tenants. Five- point Likert scale was also used to measure the level of preferences of commercial building tenants. In addition, Kruskai Wallis and Mann Whitney tests were used to determine the significant difference between the level of preferences of commercial building tenants when group based on socio-demographic profile and business profile of commercial building tenants. The results shows that majority of the participants were female and belonged to the age group of 30 to 39. Results also revealed that majority of the commercial building tenants were women. The study also revealed that the commercial building tenants highly preferred the building services among the entire category. Age and sex has a significant difference in the level of preferences of the commercial building tenants. The level of preferences of the commercial building tenants varies in terms of sex and age. Females mostly preferred that the location of their office spaces is safe. There is no significant difference among all the business profile in the study of preferences of commercial building tenants on office space occupation decision in selected areas of Cavite.
