Abstract: BALDOZ, SHIELA MARIE P. Hog Fattening: An Entrepreneurial Project. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Animal Production. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Adviser: Dr. Magdalena N. Alcantara. This project was conducted at the Animal Production Project, Cavite State University- Indang Campus from February 8 to April 30, 2017. The project aimed to gain a thorough understanding of swine production management practices; evaluate the different swine production parameters in relation to the profitability of the enterprise; identify the different problems related to swine raising; and gain profit from fattening hogs. The four fattening hogs were provided with proper care and management during the 81 day-rearing period. At the end of the project, the hogs with an average initial weight of 17.75 kg ended up weighing an average weight of 77.25 kg with an average daily of 0.73 kg. The average feed consumption was 101.81 kg and the feed conversion efficiency was 2.72 kg. A total of P31,980.00 was used in the project operation. The net income computed was P6,762.50, giving a return of investment (ROI) of 21.15%
