Abstract: MALOLES, CARMINA M., Backyard hog Raising: An Entrepreneurial Development Project. Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Development Project. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship major in Animal Production. CAFENR Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite JUNE 2018 Adviser: Henry I. Rivero MSc. The project was conducted in Brgy. Bancod III, Indang, Cavite from December 21, 2017 to April 5, 2018. The project aims to develop skills in hog fattening in terms of actual operation and management of hog fattening project and to determine the profitability of hog fattening through evaluation of the different production. The feed consumed of hogs has four sack of starter pellet which amounted to ₱5, 3892.00. They also consumed fifteen sack of grower pellet which amounted ₱18, 277.50. For a total of 105 days the hogs were raised. After the rearing period of 105 days, the hogs consumed a total of 950 kg of feeds with an average feed consumption of 237.50 kg per hogs. The average hog obtained an average final body weight of 91.8 kg.
