Abstract: DELA CRUZ, ELYSSA MARI M. and MECUA, MARC JERTSON C. Development of Informatics on Parasitology for Third Year Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology Students of Cavite State University — Main Campus Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Mr. Simeon E. Daez. The study aimed to give convenience to the Medical Technology students of Cavite State University — Main Campus as well as to some teacher at the school. The system is capable of providing a fast and easy way of learning the Parasitology subject. It has 3 modules namely Parasites and Jargons View List Module, Exercise Module and Search Jargon and Parasite Module. Agile development methodology was used as to progressively complete the entire system, which include the initiation, analysis, design, construction, testing and deployment phase. In the initiation and analysis phase, starting of the development of the application and justifying its purpose and scope is involved. In the design and Construction Phase, a blueprint of the application will be provided before making the actual coding. In the testing and deployment phase, the mobile application will be deployed to its prospect clients. The testing phase is to check the application's capacity and whether it was working successfully. In developing the application, the developers used Java as the main programming language and SQLitc Database for the data that will be recorded and retrieved. Adobe Photoshop Cs6 for designing the user interface, and Microsoft Word 2010 for the documentation. The application was evaluated by all of the Third Year and Fourth Year Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology students at Cavite State University — Main Campus. The criteria for the application evaluation were functionality, reliability, usability and user-friendliness. Based on the evaluation results of the evaluation, the application passed and was able to comply with all the requirements as it met its objectives.
