Abstract: CENIZAL, PAOLO D. and CRUSEM, RANDEL R. Grave Runner: Development of 2D Maze Game for Android Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Mr. Marlon R. Pereña. The study was conducted from March 2016 to April 2017 at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to develop a Grave Runner: development of 2d maze game for android. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. analyze the identified problems using fishbone diagram; 2. design the system models through the Agile Methodology; 3. develop an application using Construct 2 as a development tool, Adobe Photoshop CS6 for design and photo editing; 4. evaluate and test the mobile application through unit testing and integration testing. The development of mobile application for Grave Runner: Development of 2D Maze Game for Android was conducted to help gamers to challenge their mental ability, sharpen memory, and logical ability to solve the maze. The methodology used by the researchers was the agile methodology. It consists of five phases: brainstorm, design, development, quality assurance, and deployment. The system is consisting of three (3) modules: stage module, quest module, and setting module; stage module focuses on ten (10) stages of the game. Quest module focuses on the information about the information of the key to end the game. Setting module focuses on the sound on/off button, tutorial button, credits button and reset button. The system was evaluated by 100 respondents composed of 90 students coming from different colleges of Cavite State University-Main Campus and 10 IT experts from the faculty of Department of Information Technology. They evaluated the system based on its functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. The results were tabulated, analyzed, and statistically treated using mean and standard deviation. Based on the results, the system was assessed as excellent which proves that the objectives and requirements of the system were achieved and it can be a solution to the identified problems.
