The study was conducted to determine the factors influencing the career preferences of senior high school students of selected schools in Indang, Cavite. Specifically, it sought to: (1) determine the demographic and economic characteristics of senior high school students; (2) identify their career preference; (3) determine the level of influence of personality factors, family, friends and relatives, participant's interest, and job opportunity in the career preference; and (4) determine the significant relationship between demographic and economic characteristics and their career preferences. It was conducted from January to April 2017 and covered selected high schools in Indang, Cavite which offer senior high school. Results showed that senior high school students were 17-18 years old, female, whose parents have 1-3 children, and were the eldest. Their family income ranged from P1000-P25830, and their fathers and mothers were self-employed. They would like to enroll in academic track particularly engineering. Moreover, job opportunity, personality and interest were very influential to career preference, whereas, family, relatives and friends were somewhat influential. Further, demographic and economic characteristics such as age, sex, number of children in the family, sibling position, monthly family income, father’s occupation, and mother’s occupation were significant to career preference.
