Abstract: Marjes, Hannie Grace L. and Oligario, Juanito G. DEVELOPMENT OF AN ONLINE INFORMATION SYSTEM OF COFFEE PRODUCT FOR CAFÉ AMA DEO DEVELOPMENT COOPERATIVE. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Ms. Gladys G. Perey. The study aimed to develop an Online Information System of Coffee Product for Amadeo, Cavite. An online website that will display the most updated information about the coffee products of Cafe Amadeo Development Cooperative which was conducted from the date of May 2017 up to May 2018. Specifically, it aims to: 1.) develop a module that will generate sales report faster; 2.) develop a module that will display the products available as well as the information provided by the Cafe Amadeo Development Cooperative; and 3.) create a module that will allow the customers to communicate and collaborate, for them to provide their feedbacks and suggestions about the products for the cooperative to identify the customers satisfaction. The researchers used Prototyping Model as the methodology for this study. The Prototyping Model is a systems development method (SDM) in which a prototype (an early approximation of a final system or product) is built, tested, and then reworked as necessary until an acceptable prototype is finally achieved from which the complete system or product can now be developed. By the used of this method, a trial-and-error process can take place between the developers and the users, and this works best in scenarios where not all of the project requirements are known in detail ahead of time. This method introduces six (6) phases; Requirement Gathering, Quick Design, Building Prototype, Customer Evaluation, Refining Prototype, and Engineer Product. This is guideline that helps the researchers to have a comprehensive analysis and arrive at certain fundamental conclusion. The different software and technologies used in the accomplishment of the system are MySQL for the database, PHP as the server scripting language, HTML, CSS and several Javascript libraries and plug-ins for the Web Page formatting and UI development, Adobe Photoshop for image processing and User Interface designs. The developed system was evaluated in accordance to the functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency maintainability, portability and user-friendliness. The participants of this evaluation were composed of the Cafe Amadeo Development Cooperative's Bookkeeper, Ms. Ann Camille B. Ramirez, Quality Assurance Officer, Ms. Christe De Grano, Staffs and Customers of the Café Amadeo Development Cooperative, Students from Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Evaluation results indicate that the system has passed, completed the needed requirements and achieved the objective of the study.
