Abstract: NOEL, ALEXANDER R. and TEODORO, CARLO P. Development of an automated student aid PCB printing and etching machine for electronics laboratory. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. November 2018. Adviser: Engr. Nemilyn A. Fachar. The study aimed to develop an automated student aid PCB printing and etching machine for electronics laboratory. It was designed to perform the printing and etching of the PCB one at a time. The circuit layout was designed in EagleCAD application software and it was transferred to Microsoft Word to change the design color from black to magenta. The machine has six (6) different processes namely printing, ink drying, etching, rinsing, ink removal and PCB drying. There was a robotic arm for pick and place application. There were four sizes of PCB and four acrylic frames used in the study. The unit was tested. The objectives of the study were met based on the results of the evaluation. The system was able to produce high efficient quality PCB's. Technical evaluation showed that the machine was able to function correctly when printing and transferring. The device was also able to prove its usability, safety, accuracy, reliability, efficiency and performance.
