A study was conducted to determine the factors that influenced the choice of undergraduate courses among international and local students in selected universities in Cavite. The 148 students who served as participants were from Cavite State University-Main Campus, Far Eastern University-Silang, Cavite and AMA Computer College Dasmarinas. Descriptive quantitative research design was used in the study. The study also used a questionnaire that was distributed to the selected students from Cavite State University-Main Campus, Far Eastern University-Silang and AMA Computer College Dasmarinas to gathered data. Majority of the participants were males, their age ranged from 16 years old to 30 years old. Most of the local participants chose Business Related courses while greater percent of international participants took Health and Services courses. For their family monthly income, international participants' families earned a higher amount of money which ranged from P10,000 to P450,000 than the families of local participants which income ranged from P3,000 to P70,000. Self-decision, Environmental, Parental and Financial factors moderately influenced both local and international participants in choosing their course while Cultural and Peer factors slightly influenced them.
Most of the participants were satisfied with the curriculum of their chosen field because they learned a lot from the subjects, the curriculum gives them a lot of information, and fits to their future job, the subjects are good, and the school has a high standard of teaching. Looking into the satisfaction of the participants in each school, most of the students from Cavite State University-Main Campus were satisfied. AMA Computer College-Dasmarinas students were mostly not satisfied, and all participants from Far Eastern University-Silang were satisfied with the curriculum of their chosen course.
