The entrepreneurs chose banana based products as a business for Entrepreneurial Development Project. The business aimed to provide the students more opportunity to Rain knowledge and experience in operating an actual business. Specifically, this project aimed to develop students' capability in managing a food business; introduce new and innovative variety of banana based snacks; determine the profitability of banana based products; and identify problems encountered and provide appropriate solutions. The business operated from November 23, 2015 to March 01, 2016. It was located at the University Mall, Cavite State University-Main Campus. The business offered different kinds of banana based products such as Embanana, Banana French toast roll and Banana Marshcake. The business also offered different complimentary drinks such as Apple Cranberry, Caribbean Sun and Four Seasons. The business had an initial capital of P30, 000 which equally shared by the proponents. At the end of the operation, the business generated a total sales of P73, 851.00, total gross of P22, 624.58 and a total net profit of P18, 201.41. Through this project, the proponents learned and gained a lot of knowledge in handling a business. New experiences in operating the business, such as direct selling to the customers, creating different strategies and activities to market the products The proponents developed their thinking skills, managing time, and strategic planning.
