The results revealed that majority of the participants were 26 to 30 years old, and were married, they reached college graduate, and had 1 to 5 years in service with salary grade 11 and have a gross monthly income of Php 20,000 to Php 24,999. Majority of the teachers availed or had loan to informal lenders, some of them had loan from PAG-IBIG and GSIS, and some had loan from the banks. For purpose, most of them chose the emergency purpose as factors associated with their credit decision and they usually consider the terms of payment of a particular loan product they avail. Thus, the participants borrow or avail credit product to provide their needs especially for emergency purposes and considering the terms of payment or how long will it take for them to pay it were considered factors associated with their credit decision and have a highly significant relationship to their credit product availed. The researchers would like to recommend PAG-IBIG, DepEd, and the Division office of Dasmarinas that they may conduct seminars for the teachers discussing about their finances- from their salary issues up to their savings or investment matters for the long run. And for the teachers as well, that they may be more aware about financial matters if they will have a balance perspective on savings or invest more for the future and thus lessen the probability of availing loan.
