Abstract: ROSELITO, IGNO MANALO. Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, April 1993. DESIGN FABRICATION AND TESTING OF A COCONUT HUSK ORGANIC FERTILIZER PRODUCTION. Adviser : Engr. Jaime Q. Dilidili A motor operated coconut husk cutter/pulverized was designed, fabricated, and evaluated in the School of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite. It aimed to come up with a machine that can pulverize the coconut husk, to evaluate the performance of the machine and to utilize the coconut husk for organic fertilizer production. The machine consists of six principal components, namely: the cutter, crusher, presser, sieves, frames and of the husk. Results showed that the machine capacity was highly significant with an efficiency of 62.57 percent. pulverizing efficiency was dependent on the operator's performance, the rpm of the shaft and the moisture content of the husk. The total amount spent to construct the machine was P 6,248.00.
