Abstract: SISANTE, FREDDIE DIMAG. Don Severino College, Indang, Cavite, April 1997. TESTING AND EVALUATION OF A MOTOR-DRIVEN MEAT SLICER". Adviser: Engr. Cesar C. Carriaga. 1997. The study entitled "Development, Testing and Evaluation of Motor-driven Meat Slicer" was conducted at the School of Engineering, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from November 1996 to steel sheet. ABSTRACT the meat The meat slicer was made up of fibra and stainless the major parts are the motor which served the power source, blade as slice the meat, sliding bed which holds the meat and assembly, pusher the directing towards the blade for cutting and stopper used to produce desired thickness. The other parts are frame, stand, belt and pulley assembly and pusher. The machine was tested using different speeds the blade. Results showed that the cutting capacity of the machine is 1126.98 g/min with a cutting efficiency of 90.83%. The amount of loss was 9.17% of the total meat sliced. Agricultural "DEVELOPMENT, and vi January to used which is meat of the initial cost of the machine is P11,650.00, and the cost of using the machine was P24.64/hr.
