Abstract: PERENA, NORALYN B., Cavite Stale University, Indang, Cavite, April 1998. Teachers' Morale Organizational Climate and Teaching Performance among Secondary School Teachers District of Tagaytay Major Professor Dr. Cecilia B. Banaag. This study attempted to find out the interrelationship of teachers' morale, organizational climate, and teaching performance in public secondary schools m the district of Tagaytay. Specifically, the study sought to determine a) the profile of teachers in terms of sex, age, number of years in teaching, educational attainment and position b) the level of teachers' morale in the public secondary school in the district of Tagaytay c) the level of organizational climate as perceived by the teachers d) the level of teachers' performance as perceived by the students e) the interrelationship among teachers' profile, organizational climate, teachers morale and teachers' performance. The study made use of descriptive correlational method or research. It consisted of description, recording, analysis, and interpretation of the status of teachers in terms of their morale, organizational climate, teachers' performance and teachers' profile. Instruments used in data gathering were: Morale Tendency Scores (MTS) Organizational Climate Descriptive Questionnaire (OC.DQ) and TeacherBehavior Inventory (TBD. The study was conducted in Tagaytay District. the respondents included 82-time secondary school teachers and 407 students. The statistical measures employed were mean, frequency counts, percentage standard deviation and correlation coefficient. Teachers were dominated by young teachers There were more female teachers than male teachers. Majority of the teacher respondents were Learned With regard to their educational attainment, majority of the respondents were Bachelor of Science in Education (BSI’.) degree holders. Most teachers have been teaching for one to five years. Majority of teachers were Teachers I while seven were Master Teachers with Masteral units in Education. The teachers’ respondents were considered to have high morale Majority of the teacher respondents felt that the climate in their school was favorable. In terms of teaching performance, the students rated their teachers to have an above average performance. There were significant relationships among teachers' morale, educational qualification, and teachers’ designation. With regard to their organizational eliminate, it is significantly related to age, designation, and experience. There is a relationship between climates and morale but there IS no relationship between teachers profile and morale teacher’s' morale and teaching performance. Similarly, there is no relationship between the organizational climate and teaching performance.
