Abstract: AVERILLA, AMIEL R. and ILANO, JAMES PAUL G. EASY FILE ORGANIZER: AN ANDROID PHONE APPLICATION FOR FILE MANAGEMENT. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Ms. Ezra F. Ramos. The study was conducted from February 2016 to May 2018 at Cavite State University — Main Campus. The purpose of the study was to manage all the files of an android phone, identify the duplication of files, and lessen the junk files. The difference of this study between other existing applications was, it can determine if a file has been duplicated, and it can also lessen the memory by removing junk files. Iterative Development Process Model was used as the methodology of the system. Visual Studio and Xamarin Forms were used to implement this study. The system was evaluated by 40 participants from Cavite State University and 10 IT specialists. The results were collected through an evaluation based on ISO 9126. For the creation of the system, the researchers have an Asus X4551, laptop, with the specification of 4GB RAM, 1TB in hard disk, i5 processor and an operating system of Windows 10,, According to overall result of the evaluation, the system was judged to be excellent in the software criteria such as functionality, efficiency, maintainability, portability, user-friendliness aid; very good to reliability and usability. Upon the completion of the study, the researchers decided that this would be the answer for the problems met by the android phone users especially the duplication of files and rapidly increase of the phone memory.
