Abstract: ANACAY, KEVIN AMIL. Production Process of MAHLE Filter System Philippines Corporation. An Undergraduate Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Operations Management. Cavite State University — Main Campus, January 2018. Adviser: Engr. Gilberto S. David. The case study was conducted at MAHLE Filter System Philippines Corporation in Block 8 Lot 5-7, First Cavite Industrial Estate, Barangay Langkaan., Dasmarinas, Cavite from February to April 2017. It was conducted in order for the proponent to apply his knowledge in Business Management specifically in Operations Management. The study generally aimed to determine the production process of the company, identify the problems encountered by the firm in production, and give feasible solutions to afore mentioned problems. Relevant data were obtained from the company's records which were provided by managers and staffs. Other data were gathered from employees through personal interviews and observation of actual operations. Library, internet and other researches were also used as secondary sources of information. The researcher used SWOT analysis to evaluate the performance of the company in its production and distribution aspects. MAHLE Filter System Philippines Corporation is one of the leading manufacturers of car air filters in Cavite for the last 20 years. The firm has employees assigned in various departments, who help the company attain its goal of becoming a successful manufacturer of car air filter in the country and abroad. As observed in the company's production process, the proponent found out that the company has problems with its machines, manpower, and not enough knowledge for the workers in operating the machines. In order to solve the problems stated, recommendations were presented in this paper together with the action plan formulated to serve as the company's guide in improving the areas of production, and the company as a whole.
