Abstract: CRAVE, NICKO LUIGIE G. AND DIONISIO, MARLON JAY F. Development of Automotive Electrical Security System Instructional Trainer. Undergraduate thesis, Bachelor of industrial Technology major in Automotive Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2018, Adviser: Mr. Danielito R. Escano. Security systems provide protection and convenience when interfaced with the vehicle; the system will monitor the vehicles exterior and interior for interfering and attempted intrusions and expel an audible sound once these infractions are detected. The Automotive Technology Section of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology does not have an existing prototype for automotive security system. The lack of presence of an instructional trainer, specifically the electrical security system in the department will give solution to this existing problem. The development of an advanced electrical security system will provide students and instructors an instructional manual that will lessen the issue in security system diagnosis. The development of automotive security system will provide more enhance skills for the student and how to familiarize the parts and component of security system. The design project will feature one of the coverage in Automotive Servicing NC III which will benefit not only the automotive students but the Department of industrial Engineering and Technology (DIET) as well. The authors gathered information from their adviser, instructors and technical critic about where to find the needed materials for the design project. The researchers were also considered searching the materials digitally by using internet. The authors were looked to the legit seller sites for the materials needed in the design project. The authors used marine plywood to construct a frame, in the beginning; the design project must have an exact size and dimensions to avoid excess sizes so the authors used an accurate tool to measure it. After cutting marine plywood with an exact size and dimension of 31"x62", the authors must need to assemble the cut woods using hammer, nails, and wood glue. Next is the door dimension of 26"x19" and constructing of metal stand dimension of 30"x56" that needs to be weld to become stronger stand and to avoid wiggling, next is installing of formica that situated in the flooring of the frame. The dimension of the designed frame is 31"x62"x35". The planks that are going to be used for the construction are bought from the local hardware store and the wooden frame is made up of wooden planks that are cut by a saw based on specific measurements mentioned above. After the planks were cut according to the frame precise measurement, the authors connected the planks by adhesive also known as wood glue and served as the holding foundation of the unfinished frame. The featured of the design project was to develop the main unit of the alarm system. The alarm system has different components such as: the main unit of central lock, main unit of LED indicator, main unit of shock sensor, main unit of alarm system, main unit central lock door, ignition switch and the backing sensor. The study was proven are tested by the evaluation, instructors and the student that if it's more efficient and use for their functionality. The statement was based to the result of the evaluation which got overall average of 4.89 with this corresponding degree of level to outstanding_ This means that the design project was in good condition and met the objective of the design project.
