Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Financial Management. College of Economics, Management and Development Studies, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Prof. Cecilia T. Cayao. This research determined the perception, trust, and confidence towards online banking of bank users in cities of Cavite. The study aimed to determine the following: socio-demographic profile of bank users' in cities of Cavite in terms of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, occupation, and monthly income; benefits of online banking; influence of motivational factors to bank users to engage in online banking; relationship between socio-demographic profile and bank users' perception, trust, and confidence towards online banking; relationship between influence of motivational factors and bank users' trust and confidence towards online banking; and the problems they encountered in using online banking. The study used descriptive and correlational research designs. Simple random sampling technique was used to identify the participants of the study. Paper-pencil and online survey questionnaire served as the basic tools in gathering data. The researchers gathered information from bank users in different cities in Cavite. A total of 200 participants were surveyed. It was found out that the participants have a high level of awareness in online banking, a high level of trust towards online banking, and a high level of confidence in using online banking. It was also found that influences of motivational factors seriously affect the trust, and confidence of participants in using online banking. The results revealed that civil status and length of usage of online banking have a significant relationship on perception and confidence of bank users towards online banking. On the other hand, age, sex, educational attainment, estimated monthly income, and occupation have no significant relationship on perception and confidence of bank users towards online banking. It showed that there were significant relationship between estimated monthly income, civil status, educational attainment, and occupation and trust on online banking. In contrast to that, age, sex, and length of usage have no significant relationship on the trust of participants in engaging in online banking. Lastly, the most common problem that bank users encountered was not having internet access for those who were not involved and lack of electronic and security for those involved in online banking.
