Cubillo This aimed to know the performance of Water Districts in Cavite; determine the characteristics of selected Water Districts, identify the sources of water; describe how the water is distributed from the source to the consumers; determine the profitability of Water Districts; determine the efficiency of Water Districts; describe the current plans, programs, projects and policies of Water Districts to enhance efficient water supply to the consuming public; and identify the problems encountered in the operation as well as its effect on water utility services and the means to solve the problems. The study was conducted at Dasmariñas Water District, Dasmariñas, Cavite, Indang Water District, Indang, Cavite, Mendez Water District, Mendez, Cavite, Silang Water District, Silang, Cavite, Tagaytay City Water District, Tagaytay City and Trece Martires City Water District, Trece Martires City. A descriptive method was used in the analysis of the data. Financial analysis was used in order to determine the efficiency and profitability of Water Districts. The profitability and efficiency ratios were computed based on the financial statements sourced from the selected Water Districts in Cavite. The establishment of water Districts in Cavite was part of the development strategy of the local administration in order to respond to the demands for clean, safe, potable, and affordable water. For these reasons, the government should continue to encourage and support the Water District to enhance efficient water supply to the consuming public.
