Abstract: DEL ROSARIO, RUEL Applied Research I Y (Agri—science Curriculum) , Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite, April 1990, RESPONSE OF RADISH TO DIFFERNR LEVELS OF MIXED ORGANIC FERTILIZERS Adviser: Prof. Josefino A . Viado The research study entitled, Response of Radish to Different levels Of Mixed Organic Fertilizers" was conducted at the Experimental Field of Agri—Science Department, Don Severino Agri cultural College, Indang, Cavite from Nov ember to January 1990 to determine the effects of different levels of mixed organic fertilizers composed of cow manure and chicken menu re to radish and to find out which levels Of mixed organic fertilizer will give the best results on the growth end yield of radish. The different levels of mixed organic fertilizers were incorporated and mixed thoroughly to the soil before planting in their corresponding treatments. During planting time, two to three seeds were directly dropped in each hole about twice the diameter of the seeds spaced twenty centimeters apart on All the missing hi 118 were replanted one-week after germination. All roots were harvested during termination date. The harvested sample plants in every replication were counted, measured, and weighed to get the average number, average length of roots end the average diameter of the roots.Based on the results of the study, Treatment 4 (3 kg• chicken manure + 3 kg. cow manure) was the best mixtures of organic fertilizer for radish. It gave highest average weight in grams, highest average length of roots in centimeters, highest average diameter compared to other mixture of organic fertilizer.
